Materials Needed:
Any worsted weight yarn in two colours (for this pattern I used Caron Simply Soft)
Size 5.00mm Crochet Hook.
Yarn Needle
Button (optional)
Gauge is not essential. Just make sure the stitches particularly on the petals are tight.
Round 1: with colour 1 make magic ring, Ch.3, 9 DC in ring, pull ring together, slip stitch
With colour 2, join in the chain 10 space. Sc 1, HDC 1, DC 10, Ch 2, DC 10, HDC
1, Sc 1 all in chain 10 space. Repeat in each of the chain 10 spaces. Slip stitch Crochet
into the first sc of colour 2. Fasten off.
To connect to the next chain 10 space sc into the sc between the sc in-between
the chain 10 space made in the last round.
At this point your flower is essentially finished. However you are also able to embellish this
as well. I like to slip stitch at the top of the petals to add another layer. Or add some beading.
